Operator training on the Pedestrian Operated Pallet Stacker Trucks is available for all lift heights - LOW LEVEL (PPT)  *  EYE LEVEL  *  HIGH LEVEL


Knowing how to operate a pedestrian operated truck cuts down the chances of mistakes being made and accidents occurring. Having had proper training for this equipment means your workforce will be able to operate more safely and efficiently that someone who has not.

Our instructors deliver the training on site at your premises, enabling your workforce to gain valuable experience on the equipment they will using in their own unique work environment.


Courses are available for novice and experienced operators, and course lengths are dependant on the number of operators to train, and the machine stacking height


Refresher training is a 1 day course and is for a maximum of 3 operators

Courses include:

  • Current Legislation (HASAWA 1974/PUWER 1998/LOLER 1998)
  • Basic counterbalance principles and reasons for lateral (sideways) and longitudinal (forwards) tipping over
  • Safe operator positioning
  • Pre-use checks and maintenance (record keeping and reporting)
  • Introduction to the machine and its controls
  • Mounting and dismounting – where applicable
  • Correct use of all braking systems
  • Observational techniques
  • Basic Steering & steering in confined areas
  • Load Assessment
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Recognised system of work for stacking at destacking at height
  • Battery charging and maintenance
  • Theoretical assessment
  • Practical assessment
