TRAINING REGULATIONS
Lift trucks are involved in about a quarter of all workplace transport accidents. As an employer, you are required to provide training and testing for all lift truck operators you employ (both new and existing)

As a fully accredited training provider, CDR Training follows their guidelines for course content and duration, ensuring we work to the highest standards and in accordance with current health and safety legislation and the Approved Code of Practice for Rider Operated Lift Trucks (L117)

There are a number of training course options available to you to train your workforce on the forklift trucks you have on site, and they are designed for candidates of all levels of operating experience to suit your business

Novice Operator Courses (3-5 days)

These courses are designed for those candidates who have little or no experience operating a forklift truck

Experienced Operator Courses (2-3 days)

These courses are for those operators who have previous experience of operating a forklift truck and require formal training and testing

Refresher Courses (1 day)

These courses are for those operators who have received formal training, testing and certification on a forklift truck previously and require a re-assessment

Conversion Courses (1-2 days)

These courses are available to those operators who have received formal training, testing and certification on one truck type (eg Counterbalance) and require the same on another truck type (eg Reach)

On completion of the course, successful trainees will be expected to have demonstrated and attained operating skills that comply with the standard set for forklift truck operators in accordance with the HSE Approved Code Of Practice (ACOP) L117
